My experience at OOAK Spring 2016

It's only been a week since my last blog post, but it kind of feels like a month!! I've had somany experiences over the five days of the One of a Kind show. It was wonderful, tiring and so informative.

This show was the first I've ever participated in, and was glad to be a part of the Etsy section. It was great to have a quick setup (and especially tear down! I was home an hour after closing!). There was a nice sense of community in the section, and although I wasn't able to make my rounds to meet all the sellers, I was happy to make some connections and hear the stories of other Canadian etsy shops.

One of the nicest experiences was meeting so many other exhibitors. I managed to put so many new faces to the names (and instagram accounts) I was already so familiar with. I met so many friendly, helpful, encouraging people- I think this part of the experience was worth it in itself!

Here are some pictures from the show. I didn't take too many- I think I was too overwhelmed with it all and taking it in was more than enough. Keeping a visual record was too much to handle!

I took the day off on Monday to relax and clean up the apartment and my workspace. I'm back to work today, fulfilling orders from the show, responding to emails, planning out the manymany projects I'm going to start working on this week! I'm really looking forward to it, I think I've still got some leftover buzz from the show!

I also noticed that it's light out at 8pm...did that happen over the past 5 days? Yay spring! Looking forward to more sunshine in the days ahead.

Have a fantastic week guys!
